As the first charter school in the state, GTCHS has been an optimal choice since 1998. The student teacher ratio is an impressive 15:1 student teacher ratio with students consistently scoring among the top in the state on all standardized tests. However, the freedom to offer our students unique opportunities at a public school comes with a cost. GTCHS does not receive any local funding for facilities, transportation, college tuition or textbooks, costing an average of $1,200 per student. The annual campaign supplements these costs so that we can continue to to offer a quality option for our students to increase their chances for success.
